Two days before what is set to be another massive year in the wedding industry, here's a countdown of just a few of the most memorable celebrity weddings of 2009.


1. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Khloe Kardashian wed Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom on September 27 at the Los Angeles mansion of music mogul Irving Azoff.  Kardashian wore a customized Vera Wang gown.

2. Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland

On December 12, 2009, reality star Melissa Rycroft headed to the altar.  She and her fiancé tied the knot in a destination beach ceremony in Isal Mujeres, Mexico.

3. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt eloped to Mexico in November 2008 and decided to have a big reception just sic months later.  The bride and groom arrived to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California in a white Rolls Royce.

4. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

New England Patriots QB, Tom Brady, and model Gisele Bundchen tied the knot on February 26, 2009.  They exchanged their vows at the Santa Monica Catholic Church in California.

5. Fergie and Josh Duhamel

After three years together, Josh Duhamel popped the big questions to Fergie in December of 2007 and the planning began!  Fergie and Josh walked down the aisle with ten bridesmaids and a star-studded guest list in Malibu.

6. Salma Hayek and Francois Henri Pinault

After a long year of breaking up and making up, actress Salma Hayek and businessman Francois-Henri Pinault finally became husband and wife on Valentine’s Day.

7. David Letterman and Regina Lasko

Most fans were surprised to learn that David Letterman and his love of 23 years, Regina Lasko, finally tied the knot and became husband and wife on March 19, 2009.
